Submitting articles for publishing

Please read the following guidelines, before submitting your articles for publishing.

Chintha.com invites malayalam articles for publishing in tharjani online magazine and english articles for publishing in keralam and paachakam categories.

Malayalam Articles
We acccept malayalam short-stories, poems, film/book reviews, travelogues, cartoons paintings etc for tharjani online magazine.

• You can send in the articles in adobe acrobat pdf, microsoft word format or varamozhi format.
• The length of the article should be around 1000 to 1500 words.
• Please use a font supported by varamozhi software(kerala, manorama, chowara, matweb, thoolika or any unicode font)

English Articles
We accept english articles on subjects related to keralam. The article should confirm to the following categories: malayalam language, malayalam literature history, kerala history and arts and culture.

• You can send in the articles in adobe acrobat pdf, microsoft word format or plain text format.
• The length of the article should be around 1000 to 1500 words.
• If you have original photos related to the article, please send them along with the article.

We look forward to original and creative articles/essays/commentaries on current events/short stories and poems. Also, include your name, email, and any other contact information and a brief bio in the submission email. We will contact you in 2-3 weeks time, if your article is chosen for publication.

Will I get Paid for my contributions?
Unfortunately, we cannot pay our contributors at this time. Chintha.com is conceived, created, and maintained as a community website. Every contributor is considered part of this community and your work done here is your contribution to the community.

Can my articles be published elsewhere even if it has been published in Chintha.com ?
Yes, we allow articles published in Chintha.com to be published elsewhere. But we would appreciate if you let us know in such cases.

Do you publish articles that have already been posted in blogs?
No, we as a policy do not accept or publish stories/essays/poems etc which are posted in your blogs. This is to avoid duplication of online content @ chintha.com. We expect your cooperation in this regard. If you have submitted an article to chintha.com, please refrain from posting them in your blog, before they appear at chintha.com
