Prawn Cutlet

Ingredients

Shelled prawns 200gms
Potatoes 100gms
Big onion 1
Green chillies 4
Ginger 2cm piece
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves 1/2 bunches
Plain Flour 3 table spoon
Bread crump’s 1/4 cup
Egg white 2

Method

Cook the prawns with chilli powder, little salt and turmeric powder and grind it.
Boil and mash the potatoes.
Chop the onion green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves.
Heat one teaspoon of oil. Add onion, green chilli and ginger and fry for few seconds.
Add prawns and coriander leaves. Fry for few seconds and remove from fire. Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
Beat the egg whites until foamy and keep aside.
Make small balls from the mixture of the size of a lemon.
Flatten it with your palm and dip it into egg mix and then in bread crumbs.
Deep fry it in oil until golden brown and serve it hot.
