Chop the lady’s finger into thin, round pieces Chop big onion and tomatoes. Crush the garlic. Soak tamarind in water and squeeze out the juice.
Heat the oil and fry onion and lady’s finger till they become golden colour. Add tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic and green chillies . Fry for some more time. Add tamarind water, salt and water. Cook till the ladies finger is done. Season with mustard seed and curry leaves
